Urban Tranquility Abu Dhabi

April 14, 2010

This short film was shot on two early mornings in Abu Dhabi by Filipino artist Mungkey. We really like the way it shows an honest street level image of the capital, staying away from pomp and glamour so common in representations of places like Dubai. Great work.

Very Nice! The colors very well represent what Abu Dhabi is all about( Having lived for so long), quite different from dubai. Its a day city not night ( Dubai its almost always skylines and colored lights at night. Which I personally also like! The angles were very good too. Don’t mean to be picky but I think the transitions from one scence to the other could have been a little better. But the lighting is really good I must say. It does it all! It brings out the location and different textures.

    Lovely!

    Goods:

    Nice color toning.
    Good selection of shots.
    Good movement of camera.

    Bads:

All angles looks same. No variations.
Showing abudhabi but playing indian music !
Wording in song don’t at all match what we see.Should have some link.
Avoid to show masjid minarets with background music.
